What is “Medpay” Insurance.

Medpay insurance is an optional coverage for the standard Virginia Family Auto Insurance Policy. It provides for payment of your medical expenses in the event that you suffer injuries arising out of an automobile accident. You can select the limit of coverage which typically is $1,000, $2,000, $5,000 or $10,000. Once you purchase Virginia medpay insurance coverage, you, and your family members who live with you at the Virginia residence where your car is insured are covered for the purposes of Virginia Medpay. This coverage applies to you and your family as the insureds wherever you are. So long as you suffer an injury arising out of an automobile accident, you are covered.
